If I was a Dictator, oriental religions would be outlawed, only oriental inmigrants would be allowed to practice their religion but far away from the public's eye, inside their houses and disguised temples, they can't make any noises.

The Celts, the Greeks, African practices, Gnostics, some parts of Judaism, Norse, Native America.

So yeah some conquerors have been quite lazy on that task of stomping out the idea completely.
